The two-day seminar be organized fully virtual, gathering construction professionals from over 17 countries.
The event is focused for everyone who are a part of health care facilities, building and planning them. Presentations will be connected to subjects like Digital Twin, BIM and other subjects connected to the general theme of how to co-operate better in digital environments. The general theme is how we can do our jobs and tasks better through modern tools in the digital environment.
Gravicon is one of the sponsors of the event. We will have an active participation to the event and a presentation during the first day. For this article, we interviewed our participants to the event, Manuel Furlotti and Johannes Aho.
Manuel: Our cloud-based solution Modelspace Space Management helps health care building professionals to better plan and improve the communication workflow in demanding hospital facility projects.
It is being used by most of the hospital districts in Finland and now we are starting our internationalization and looking for partners in selected countries. It is important for us to be a part of this event, as multiple our current stakeholders and future contacts are present in the event. We are also sponsoring the event. Connected to this, we will keep a presentation during the first day of the virtual seminar.
Johannes: I will speak about requirement management processes, what kind of challenges there are and then I will also speak about how we can improve the process through tools and attitudes. Generally, all this is connected to producing more efficient and productive buildings and facilities.
Johannes: We are quite familiar in the Finnish industry now; it is nice to see our customers and co-operates in the event. But I have to say that it is interesting to learn what is the situation in the industry from a global perspective, as we are aiming to have global activities soon.
Manuel: I am sure that our presentation will be interesting for many of the participants, as it is a subject that they are familiar with. Secondly, I am very interested about hearing how Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Digital Twin will co-exist and co-operate in the future.
